It could be debatable for some. These may very well be the lucky few that have never had a problem with termites before. But you just never know, your day may soon come. Another argument goes that it all depends on which state you reside or operate in. It depends on that region’s general climate. Insect-like pests will have a preference for certain regions owing to its temperatures and the available (natural) materials it prefers to consume.
That’s a fair comment to be making but it holds no water. Because the termite bug is one that pretty much affects every county in the country. Look at it this way; where there’s wood, you’re sure to find termites. And rest assured that if you’d don’t nip this problem in the bud quickly enough, you’re going to be saddled with a bugger of a problem. You may say that you don’t have termites right now (and how would you know this for sure anyhow) but there’s no reason why you can’t have a termites dallas or inspection done in the meantime.
Chances are very good that they are already there. You just couldn’t see them. You may never because they are extremely shy creatures and they have a tendency to shun the daylight. While their species (and there’s quite a few of them) may be similar to that of ants (another pest problem) in some ways, they prefer to remain below the surface of the ground. Or below your floorboards or behind your walls. You may not see them but they’re there alright.
Some people with extremely good hearing have even been able to hear them. Swarms of them burrowing even further into your wood. This you may have heard too except you had no clue.
